Take a relaxing stroll over the many kilometres of tracks or head to Mount Manbundi for a trek across the high country enjoying magnificent views, abundant wildlife and find the trigonometry station erected in the 1960s.

Your cottage is independent and away from the owners so that you have the freedom to do as little or as much as you like.
Feed the chooks and collect the eggs.
From time to time we have pet sheep around the cottage for children to enjoy. This varies from year to year.
View the Oakhurst Border Leicester stud ewes and lambs – supplementary feeding during autumn, winter and spring
See the Angus cows and calves – calving in September/October each year. Be on the look out for our pet cow “Poddy” as she is extremely friendly and enjoys a long pat.

Tend to the veggie garden and pick farm fresh produce/herbs in spring and summer
Take a short walk from the cottage to view our Border Leicester ewes.
Astronomers, enjoy the dark clear skies for night viewing from the verandah
